Another conspiracy theory

So, recycling programs are being cut and gutted because "it's too expensive" and "too complicated"

And necessities like municipal clean drinking water is also "too expensive", so just buy more bottle water from Nestle, etc

and EV's and Hybrid vehicles are really expensive, out of the affordability to working poor and lower classes (in the US), even with the "cost savings" over the course of a few years of driving the vehicle.

hybrid buying incentives, rebates, and discounts have all gone away, because some States that offered them apparently felt they had become "common enough" and "affordable enough" that subsidizing poor people/lower classes to buy them would mean less profit for Big Auto.

So, each step here it feels like the larger conspiracy is that Ultra Rich are making it increasingly difficult for us poor people to buy energy-efficient and "green" energy, so that we're forced to stick with the polluting, dirty standard, so that us poor people contribute directly to climate destruction and polluting the Earth, so the Ultra Rich and Corporations can then throw the blame entirely on us.

"just get a better paying job"
but then
"just work harder at the shit-pay, soul-crushing job I claim I created for you, which will just contribute to pollution, and then maybe you can afford to go to college to get a degree to maybe get a job with better pay so you can then afford a green car and green energy for your home"

meanwhile
Energy costs always go up "because of high demand" which leads to more pollution, but min wage never meet those costs so it's always going to be a climb up a ladder that has no rungs.

So, more things to throw the blame onto Poor People and Low Classes with.
Because we literally can't afford green(er) energy and vehicles.
Because Big Oil and Big Energy Etc need to make massive profits so they can continue to go on tourist trips to see the Titanic in a glorified tube of toothpaste, or go rocketing up into almost-orbit for 30 seconds, or buy another luxury EV and/or private jet

And so the ultra rich can be able to pay for more HVAC technicians to keep their A/C units working when the average outside temp will be 3 digits.

But, us Poor people can only afford an electric fan, or, energy-hogging and inefficient window unit a/c that costs $100 an hour to operate.

Just Blame The Poor People Who Can't Afford To Stay Cool.

But tell me again about switching to a reusable drinking straw.
'cause it'd be nice to be able to afford the water heater to wash dishes 3 times a day.

Might seem a bit farfetched, but here is my idea as to why green energy is becoming less available to middle class and below:

Government and/or corporations want to instill laws punishing average people for using non-green items, resulting in fines, allowing them to milk more money out of us.
