Pole Shift

Muses_Realm mentioned earlier that the Earth's magnetic pole has shifted, and it's been discovered part of/major part of the cause is linked to the pumping of groundwater.

I did some quick searching just now and that does appear to be the case.

And the shift in the axis has also contributed to climate change and sea level displacement. Because of course it would.

Learning about this, and, with the worldwide forest fires everywhere (and it is affecting my breathing and I've had a terrible sore throat and asthma for the past week) is weighing me down emotionally/mentally.

Piling on top of Everything Else Going Wrong in the World Today.

I'm just feeling....Sullen about it all.

Yes, I know the News survives on if-it-bleeds-it-leads and everything-bad-makes-for-better-headlines-and-news-revenue, etc etc. And it's likely Never going to change. "Positive" or "happy" news doesn't "sell" like everyday-everything-sucks-negative-violence-and-death, and that also pisses me off on a deeper inner level.

I can't really take an "internet/social media break" because the forest fires and climate change exists in Reality. I literally cannot escape it. None of us can. And, there is nothing I can do about it that will stop or reverse the damage. So I won't find any "relief"

The negative, everything-sucks, we're all doomed, gloom-news just won't end. Every day, same old depressing, aggravating bullshit. Over and over again.

No, wait, sorry, Every Day means it's A Different Kind Of Negative Shit Everything Sucks We're Doomed or in another accent, or in another language from another country.
So, Same Shit, Different Day, just a Different but Same kind of Shit.

and it all just piles on top of everything else that sucks because Everything Sucks.

And I feel like I've gone beyond being "numb" about it, or so acclimated and used to the daily negative, but yet, it's just more shit piled on top. Like you're caught out in the rain, and it's just getting heavier, and you look up at the sky, wishing it would stop, but, no, it just keeps raining, more and heavier.

...speaking of Rain, I'm wondering when we'll be back to the Good Ol Days of Acid Rain like we had to worry about 35 years ago. Because why not have another sucky thing to have to worry about and put up with.

...Or...What's coming up next that will be "worse" than the last 6 years of Pandemic and Diseases (I'm including EEE and West Nile here)...OH! That's Right! I read this morning that Malaria has now established itself in Stupid Fucking Florida. Go Fucking Figure.
