read the info more carefully
Apr. 12th, 2022 04:57 pm A few days ago I saw a post on FB that the Concord Museum is giving a special presentation that's both live and online tonight.
My Telehealth appointment with my therapist was also tonight, although it's usually 4-5PM
Great, I figured, the timing should be just fine from one to the other.
I checked the email confirmation from Concord a few moments ago.
The "live" cast on Youtube isn't scheduled to happen until 7PM.
But the event is listed from "5-7PM"
and those who go in-person get to see a rarely shown Copley painting and talk with Joel Bohy, a 18th century arms expert (we were coworkers at the auction house, and he left in disgust for another auction house a few months after I left)
I was thinking he was going to be presenting (online) as well but now I'm not sure.
So, I'm scratching my head as the details and times seem to be conflicting.
I checked the map and if I left the studio right now I could get to Concord in an hour.
Although I registered for "online only" and they had a limited number for in-person.
Although if they're starting at 7PM, I guess I do have time now to go grocery shopping and eat dinner.
But starting at 7PM on a school night? Errr that's a commitment.
But I mean it's Concord, they're swimming in money (and will be swimming/drowing in tourist & reenactors in a few days anyway)
But I'm sort of kicking myself I didn't fully understand the details of the event tonight.
But watching the conference in my comfort wear will be just fine too.
