Now that fucking dingbat McCarthy got kicked in the nads (and hard)

I am hoping that within the next 24 hours we're going to get geenyuss tweet attacks from Turdpolisher calling out the GOP as a bunch of weak losers and how they can't get their act together and other dumb shit like "If only you helped me overthrow the government when you had your chance sad"

and I hope the "response" and "outrage" from the GOP goes into a tizzy by the end of the week.

Although we're still stuck with fucking Turdle McConnell so it's feeling like a Pyrrhic Victory

Feeling the Schadenfreude

On a related side note, it's funny I didn't even know/remember that Minority Leader was up for grabs (I thought it was becoming a Life Sentence for Turdle at this point...You'll pry my power grab from my cold dead turdle claws) , and I admit I had sort of "forgot" about McCarthy, as I've spent energy trying to keep the GOP out of my mind.

But thanks to NPR this afternoon as they started to talk about it I noticed my grip on the steering wheel was tighter and tighter and but for a moment when they said he'd been unable to secure his "deserved & earned" seat in the Big Boy Chair and was denied, by like what, 1 vote?
I almost screaming with delight when I realized that he had "lost" and had his knees knocked out from behind.

....If anything Just proving the point that if you work yourself up for years as a petulant insufferable asshole, it can and usually does lead you nowhere, especially if you fake the nice-guy-chameleon act hard enough where people see the fuck right through you.

Still not sure I'm ready to "hope" for halfway descent things for 2023.

Oddly enough, this AM on NPR I came in the middle of a radio show (I think Beat the Press but not sure) where they were clucking on about "predicting the future" in regards to whatever the Stock Market and the Economy is doing today and everything else going on in the World (when they really mean the Pandemic and Russia/Ukraine) and how that's affecting Us in the US because yeah it's maybe all connected.
And it's like, Um, Real Talk, People.... No One Can Predict the Future. The Stocks are a Scam you're told to believe in. The Economy is always going to crash at some point because fuckers in Speculation need something to do when they get bored or else they can't capitalize and profit on the suffering and failing of others beneath them. Yet, funnily enough, we drudge through the same concerns and economic problems over and over again for the past 10,000 fucking years. They couldn't figure it the fuck out back then, we can't figure it the fuck out now, Not even with computers and economic simulation models.

Ain't nobody buying shit to boost the economy if they're spending 100% of their paychecks that can only cover 1/8 of their rent this week.
Doesn't take some socially inept affluent self-proclaimed genius playing 4D chess to see that.
