Apply directly to the forehead!
Apr. 27th, 2022 08:05 pmJust saw an ad for "TMS" therapy which is allegedly for Depression / Those who have Depression That Is Resistant to Treatments
...where the cartoon has a colander bowl placed ontop of the head and "gentle magnetic waves" are pulsed through the brain.....
And it's approved by most health insurance!
And the second I saw the cartoon sci-fi mind-reader colander hairdresser helmet thing come down onto the cartoon lady's head and they had cartoon sqwiggly lines for the "gentle magnetic field" I lost it.
I mean, as in laughing my ass off
because all I could think about was of all of the cooky quack magnetic therapy bullshit since the 1890s.
Although, I DO think there is SOME validity to "magnetic fields" and its effect on the brain, because it is essentially an electrically powered solid state drive. So...Yeah OK maybe there's something to the Therapy.
But egads....Could that have been marketed any better/worse?
